Writing the Chinese Language
The written Chinese language has a very detailed writing system, and it is a huge leap from many others. Every character used in Chinese writing represents one unit of language, and one spoken syllable. The styles of calligraphy can also vary, since there are at least 5 different written styles that are very hard to distinguish. The only way to truly learn how to write Chinese is to memorize character after character. From the moment kids are put in school, they learn new characters on a daily basis. Eventually they learn enough to have a full vocabulary.
